Well, having spoken so much of Ronaldo's issues with the local Liuzhou Golden Throat Lozenge company, I thought it only fair to show some of the (it seems to me) proper usage of a famous footballer's image for commercial purposes. Though, I would guess, this is not exactly the image Ronaldinho (otherwise spelled Ronaldinho, if you who don't do the tilde-ized N) was expecting when he signed with Lenovo computer company.
My first reaction was that this looked like a misplaced umbilical cord. Or maybe it is some of the pre-game preparations they do down in Samba land. I don't know. But you know what? Only Ronaldinho needs two units to fuel the full-dinho power!
I will give it to them, Lenovo's TV spots are considerably more impressive. The (from what I hear) world's number one computer computer company (in units sold, I am assuming) picked a good spokesperson...for China, at least. Chinese tend to love Brazil football. Actually, they tend to love all the "heavies" in the football world, because it is always nice to route for those who so often win.
I am guessing Lenovo actually signed a contract and paid Ronaldinho. So, maybe now we should call it "Lenhovo"!
